Swing Out Sister at Variety Playhouse

July 17, 2013

July 16, 2013 - British pop band Swing Out Sister, who last played in Atlanta in 1994, performed to a packed Variety Playhouse in Little Five Points on Tuesday night as part of a rare U.S. tour they are currently on.

Accompanied by their back-up band, founding members Corinne Drewery on vocals and Andy Connell on keyboards covered many of their hits in a two-set two-hour show.

Their name comes from a 1945 movie starring Arthur Treacher called "Swing Out, Sister."
