People who grew up in metro Atlanta in the late 1980s to early 2000s have a special place in their hearts for the Science and Technology Museum of Atlanta, more commonly known as Sci-Trek. The janky museum located next to the Boisfeuillet-Jones Civic Center on Piedmont Road was a frequent field trip for local students, and filled with cool-for-the-time science trinkets, most of which were sold off by the city, county, and state in the mid-2000s. Apparently some people just can't let go. Slapped on a piece of public art at the corner of West Peachtree and Pine streets is an official sign pointing people to the now-empty museum.
