Georgia Shakespeare inaugurates its summer slate of plays by rolling out some big guns for HAMLET. Actor's Express' Jasson Minadakis, who was artistic director of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival before relocating here, directs the Bard's masterpiece, which features Minadakis' frequent leading man Daniel May (shown) as the melancholy Dane, and a stellar lineup of local actors including Tess Malis Kincaid, Brad Sherrill, Courtney Patterson and Chris Kayser. Expect the show to be hot, violent and still full of Shakespearean smarts. $15-$40. Performed in repertory with Twelfth Night. Tues.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 2 and 8 p.m. Through July 22. Conant Performing Arts Center, 4484 Peachtree Road. $15-40. 404-264-0020. www.gashakespeare.org.
