The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger (Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl), Julianna Barwick, Oryx and Crake

When: Sat., Jan. 15, 9 p.m. 2011
Price: $12
The GHOST OF A SABER TOOTH TIGER's debut CD, Acoustic Sessions, finds Sean Lennon, son of the Beatles' troublemaker John Lennon, embarking on a charmed, chamber-pop journey. The music takes shape with a prettier, more experimental glow than he's embraced in the past, and together with Charlotte Kemp Muhl, GOASTT's sound materializes on the obscure fringes of '60s folk, complete with vibes, banjo and guitars, culminating in sparse and sparkling arrangements. Julianna Barwick and Oryx and Crake (acoustic set) open.
