The Homestead ATL Presents: SOUTHERN FOODWAYS: CANNING PICKLED PEACHES 

When: Sun., July 14, 2 p.m. 2013
“Putting food by” and preserving the succulent flavors of the season is a proud part of our Southern heritage. Learn the art of canning preserved goods according to Southern tradition with Chef Courtney. Each student will take home a quart of local pickled peaches after the class. At The Homestead Atlanta, we strive to promote the wellbeing of individuals as well as the health of the community and environment through experiential self-reliance and sustainability skills education.
