TRIBECA FILM BRINGS THE INFIDEL TO ATLANTA Tribeca Film, the distribution initiative launched recently by Tribeca Enterprises in partnership with American Express, announces that The Infidel, directed by Josh Appignanesi and written by David Baddiel, will open in Atlanta, Georgia beginning on September 24th, 2010 at the Lefont Sandy Springs Theater. L.A. Weekly calls Omid Djalili’s comic persona “like Homer Simpson, but Muslim,” and his laugh-packed Springfield is the new film, The Infidel. Djalili (NBC’s upcoming The Paul Reiser Show) stars as Mahmud Nasir, a moderate Muslim who discovers a shocking surprise about his identity.
