Cost: $22-$26.80
From the venue:
A raspy Boston eight-piece, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones played a big role in putting ska music on the mainstream map in the years following their 1989 debut, Devil’s Night Out. The crew helped drive the crest of third-wave ska, culminating financially with 1997’s platinum-selling Let’s Face It, while fine-tuning their own fusion of ska, punk, and hardcore sounds. After coming off a more than three-year hiatus in 2007, the gang of rowdy misfits (dare we say hooligans?) has cranked out two new albums — the latest being 2011’s The Magic of Youth — while touring too sporadically for most of the group’s die-hard fans. It’s hard to remember the last time these legendary skankers brought their plaid-clad suits to the Peach State, but that’s about to change. Nashville two-tone throwbacks the Soul Radics and Atlanta’s Groove Stain open the show.
