Seattle’s Moondoggies embody the new Sub Pop spirit with rootsy, harmony-laden folk jams (think Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver). These guys do it as well as if not better than any of them, brazenly cribbing from godfathers like Neil Young but playing it so convincingly it’s hard not to rock right along.
