The one to watch: Richard Ullio

REASON TO WATCH: After bringing Atlanta our best Italian restaurant, as well as the best pizza in the city, Ullio is moving on to open two new Midtown restaurants. The first, Beleza, is a Brazilian juice-and-cocktail bar that also features fresh, healthful foods.

WHAT HE SAYS: “Beleza means beauty. Which means it’s inspired by nature, by everything that is natural, everything that is beautiful, and food that makes you beautiful and makes you feel beautiful. It will be fish and vegan. We use no processed product of any kind. No processed flour or sugar, no soy products. Eating this kind of food makes you feel good.”

WHAT’S NEXT: Later this fall, Ullio will open Cuerno, an authentic Spanish restaurant, next door to Beleza. If he does for Spanish food in Atlanta what Sotto Sotto did for Italian food, we’re in for a real treat.
