The Robert Glasper Experiment at Variety Playhouse

March 5, 2012
March 4, 2012 - The Robert Glasper Experiment took to the Variety Playhouse on Sunday evening with special guests Chrisette Michele, Bilal, and Musiq Soulchild. Robert Glasper has been stirring up a lot of buzz within the music world with his latest album Black Radio. Many are calling him the last hope for Jazz, and after witnessing his performance at the Variety I'd say the future looks bright not only for the genre but for music as a whole. Throughout the night the Experiment played jazz interpretations of Radiohead's "Everything In Its Right Place" all the way to the Nirvana classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
