Although Heavy Chevy headlines this night of spaced-out funk, the Ruination brings the party to a close. The group generally takes the stage with four to 11 players to unleash a tune-in and zone-out session of extended horn and bass-heavy jams — equal parts dub, reggae, and the sounds of the cosmos. Word on the street says that there's a follow-up to 2011's Oh Dang! LP in the works, and who knows, maybe they'll pull out some new grooves.
