WINE WITH IRIS Iris in East Atlanta has a wine tasting the first Monday of every month. The next event, May 5 at 6:30 p.m., will feature wines from around the world with hors d'oeuvres and a live DJ. Cost is $10 per person. www.irisatlanta.com. 404-221-1300.

GETTIN' JAZZY WITH THE JUICE To celebrate the Atlanta Jazz Festival, the City Grill downtown will feature "jazzy" wines like Ironstone's "Obsession" and Bonny Doone's "Book of Love" framboise. May 14, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Cost per person is $19. Reservations are suggested. Call 404-524-2489.

UNCORK A CURE The AIDS Research Consortium will host its 12th annual Uncork a Cure event May 16 6-9 p.m. at the historic Biltmore on West Peachtree in Midtown. The evening will feature wine tastings with extensive hors d'oeuvres, live music, raffle and silent auction. Tickets are $65 in advance, $75 at the door.
