The façade of the house is being restored; many layers of paint are being removed from the wooden columns, which will be re-painted. About 20% of the blacktop around the building will be turned back into green landscaped space.

The original owner, Victor Kriegshaber, owned Atlanta Terra Cotta, and the house has many terra cotta design features as a result, including these gargoyle heads on one of the ornate fireplaces.
