Specializing in Southern cuisine, this place has been a hit with in-towners since it opened in 2003 and is currently headed by chef Peter Golaszewski of the European and Ritz-Carlton Buckhead. Originally from Detroit, he cooks what he calls "a Northerner's perspective of Southern food." As a result, the cooking can feel forced. For example, the puree of butter bean soup lacks freshness and is overly vinegary, and the stacked tomatoes also are in need of freshness. Desserts, such as the sweet/tart mango-and-rhubarb cobbler, are the highlight of the meals at the Feed Store.
