Theater: 52 Pick-Up

Wed., June 6

The two-person romantic play 52 PICK-UP opening Wed., JUNE 6, at Stone Mountain's ART Station theater, takes its title quite literally. Created by T.J. Dawe and Rita Bozi, the show begins when the performers (Llysa Holland and Andrew Litzky) throw a deck of cards into the air. They then pick up the cards, each of which corresponds to one of 52 short scenes about relationship quirks, so no 52 Pick-Up performance unfolds in the same order twice. The critically acclaimed, fast-paced touring comedy captures an embrace-the-random spirit similar to that of the Neo-Futurist's Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. Through June 10. $19-$25. Wed.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 3 p.m. 5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain. 770-469-1105. www.artstation.org.
