Theater: Another Teenage Werewolf Musical

Fri., May 28

Following Benicio Del Toro's Wolf Man remake and the Twilight franchise's "Team Jacob," werewolves have become pop culture's new vampires, being fanged monsters with potentially sexy alter egos. Dad's Garage Theatre joins the pack with THE CHANGE: ANOTHER TEENAGE WEREWOLF MUSICAL, in which a hapless high schooler discovers that lycanthropy complicates the adolescent awkward phase. Dad's Garage's former artistic director Sean Daniels directs the script by Travis Sharp (author of the hilarious Lawrenceburg) and Eric Frampton. Don't be surprised if the choreography takes inspiration from such cheesy '80s dance flicks as Flashdance and Footloose. Through June 19. $15-$22. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m. 280 Elizabeth St. 404-523-3141.
