Theatrical Outfit rafts down American literature, roots music and race relations with its production of BIG RIVER, William Hauptman's adaptation of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, continuing Sun., SEPT. 14. Directed by Heidi Cline, Brandon O'Dell plays Huckleberry Finn, who flees down the Mississippi River with Jim (Eric Moore), a runaway slave. Roger "King of the Road" Miller wrote the Tony-winning musical's country and bluegrass tunes, and the 24-member cast and band features Kathleen McManus, Theatrical Outfit artistic director Tom Key and choreographer Jeff McKerley.
