Always reliable for vivid, edgy performances, Atlanta actors Patrick Wood and Steven Westdahl go mano a mano in CHINESE COFFEE, a stage drama by Ira Lewis, continuing Tues., SEPT. 2. Directed by Dikran Tulaine and produced by LoneWood Theatre Unit, the action depicts a confrontation between a novelist and a photographer, both middle-aged friends, and features plenty of mind games and fiery language. Incidentally, Al Pacino directed a video version of the material, starring himself and Jerry Orbach, which should give you an idea of Chinese Coffee's tough-talking, New York state of mind. Through Sept. 3. $10-$12. 8 p.m. Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery, 290 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Suite 8. 404-522-0655. www.chinesecoffeetheplay.com.
