Theater: The B-Team

Friday, March 13

Dad's Garage Theatre spoofs homeland security issues with THE B-TEAM, in which a band of less-than-terrifying Islamic terrorists scheme to destroy Niagara Falls. Riffing on everything from explosives to Nintendo cheat codes to the 72 virgins of the afterlife, The B-Team promises to satirize sacred cows both foreign and domestic. Jack Bauer would be furious. Playwright David Holstein is a contributing writer on Showtime's "Weeds." For her final show at Dad's Garage, departing artistic director Kate Warner directs a cast that includes Randy Havens, Jimi Kocina, Louis Gregory, Tony Larkin, Rueben Medina and Stephen Platinum. Through April 4. $5-$20. Thurs.-Sat., 8 p.m.; March 23, 8 p.m. 280 Elizabeth St., Suite C-101. 404-523-3141.
