Nobody seems to love Halloween as much as those mad scientists at the Center for Puppetry Arts, where the creative juices flow like blood from severed arteries. Creators Jon Ludwig and Jason von Hinezmeyer present THE GHASTLY DREADFULS II: HANDBOOK OF PRACTICAL HAUNTINGS AND OTHER PHANTASMAGORIA, continuing Sun., OCT. 26. This follow-up to the brilliant Halloween shows from the past two years presents another evening of ghoulish tales and cabaret-style songs with a gothic twist. The Center hints that “some old classic stories” might be back, but most of the kills should be fresh. Age 14 and up only. Through Nov. 1. $11-$24.
