See & Do - Theater: The Great American Trailer Park Musical March 28 2007

Thurs., March 29

Having wallowed in Kentucky-fried Americana with the hit Killer Joe a few years ago, Actor’s Express revisits mobile homes with THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, directed by Freddie Ashley and playing Thurs., MARCH 29, through April 21. Local musical luminary Libby Whittemore leads a cast that sinks its teeth into the seedy goings-on at Armadillo Acres, “Florida’s most exclusive trailer park.” Co-creators Betsy Kelso and David Nehls have such credits as the animated series “Behind the Music That Sucks” and the workplace musical The Watercoolers (opening later this year at Horizon Theatre). $21.50-$27. Wed.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 2 and 5 p.m. 887 W. Marietta St. 404-607-7469. www.actors-express.com.
