Theater

Cage-dancing angels, sex-obsessed spirits and tarot card readers — sounds kinda scary right? Like a throwback to those crazy industrial raves all the goths used to be into. But when the Center for Puppetry Arts brings its production of Something Wicked to the stage Oct. 12, the only thing you’ll likely find in common with those days is the sound of industrial music. The Halloween cabaret features hosts Banshee, Siren, Specter, Vox and Wraith guiding the audience through a landscape of characters in the kind of irreverent, macabre performance that only a puppet could pull off. $16-$22. Wed.-Sat., 8 p.m.; special Halloween performance Oct. 29, 11 p.m. Through Oct. 29. 1404 Spring St. 404-873-3391. www.puppet.org.
