TribalCon Dance and Music Festival is the largest belly dancing conference in the Southeast — and its not just for dancers. There's an entire track of classes and panel discussions just for musicians — plus, spectacular shows complete with world renown dancers and musicians, live-music hafla parties, impromptu jam sessions and shopping galore. Some of this year's instructors include Zoe Jakes of Beats Antique, Ariellah founding member of the Indigo, Denys Proteau, “a dancer’s favorite musician and a musician’s favorite dancer,”and August Hoerr, TribalCon’s resident party inciter and teacher of rousing Balkan songs.
