MJ COLE, BOBBLE -- A classically trained, ex-jungle producer, the UK's MJ Cole (see Club to Death, p. 83) has been getting major stateside press on the strength of his first full-length, Sincere, a prime example of UK Garage, also known as two-step -- a genre with a jittery rhythm bridging house and drum 'n' bass, with rubbery, soulful bass lines and vocals straight out of R&B. Hear the future now, with local DJs Bobble and others stepping up to the tables as well. MJQ Concourse (Ware)
