See & Do - Tuna melt August 30 2006

Theater

Tuna, Texas, “the third smallest town in the state,” has at least 20 backbiting, gossipy inhabitants, all played by Quint Von Canon and Ames Adamson in the Actors Theatre of Atlanta’s production of GREATER TUNA, running THROUGH SEPT. 17. Since its Austin, Texas, debut in 1981, Greater Tuna has been a popular, perpetually touring show performed by writers Jaston Williams and Joe Sears. The Actors Theatre of Atlanta’s locally cast production qualifies as a feather in the equity theater’s cap. $10-$30. Wed., 11:30 a.m.; Fri.-Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 2:30 p.m. 4075 Paces Ferry Road. 404-479-8491. www.ata-theatre.org.
