The AMERICA I AM exhibit is all about keeping the past alive and reminding us of our progress. Presented by radio talk-show host and political commentator Tavis Smiley, the exhibit celebrates the African-American imprint on our nation with a historical continuum of pivotal moments in courage, conviction and creativity over the course of nearly 500 years. Featuring more than 200 artifacts from every period of U.S. history, America I AM includes objects, texts, music, narration and interactive media. Through Sept. 6. $5-$12.
