The Ebony Stitchers Quilt Guild presents AWARD WINNING, a collection by Aisha Lumumba that highlights quilting, a historic craft that requires skill, patience and a large helping of love. The opening Fri., JULY 31, celebrates African-American Academy Award winners with traditional and contemporary art quilts and dolls from artists and quilt makers, resulting in a melting pot of knowledge, education and cultural appreciation for the art of quilt-making. In conjunction with the National Black Arts Festival, a five-day celebration of African-American arts and culture. Free.
