Created, written and illustrated by brothers Dawud Anyabwile, Guy Sims and Jason Sims, Brotherman: Dictator of Discipline showcases an African-American who is a public attorney by day and a hero by night. Heralded as the most endearing black comic book of our time since its debut almost two decades ago, Brotherman is being relaunched at DRAWING FROM THE SOUL. Many will relive Brotherman's debut, as well as its inspiration for minority artists to illustrate their own experiences. Activities include a youth workshop, an opening night viewing, panel discussion and a meet and greet. Through Aug. 8. Free. Opening, 11 a.m.; Mon.-Fri., 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sat., 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Art on 5 Gallery, 2001 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Suite 530. 404-567-4799. www.brothermancomics.com.
