Visual art: Seen Gallery Reopening

Saturday, March 7

Getting out from under a number of "environmental and security issues" in its old location, the Seen Gallery celebrates the opening of a brand-spanking-new gallery in downtown Decatur. The 1,700-square-foot space is already loaded up with gallery regulars for THE SEEN GALLERY GRAND REOPENING AND GROUP SHOW: painter Melanie Eberhardt, porcelain artist Joanna Stecker, and Keri Straka, who's best known for ceramic sculptures that imitate organic forms and sea life. Through April 1. Free. Reopening, 7-10 p.m.; Tues.-Thurs., 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and by appointment. 415 Church St., Suites A-B, Decatur. 404-377-0733.
