KICKSTAND, FLASH TO BANG TIME, MOTO-LITAS -- Rocking Ray Dafrico's cool quartet Kickstand headlines tonight over Lynda Stipe's Athens-based darkwave pop act Flash to Bang Time. Opening the show are Atlanta's own all-grrrl new wave rockers, the Moto-Litas. Portions of tonight's show will be filmed by former Smoke cellist Brian Halloran for an Internet and cable music series pilot. Star Bar (Nicoll)

MOLLY AND SIMONE, RACHEL BISSEX -- The dynamic duo from local band Lift -- guitarist/vocalist Molly Bancroft and drummer Simone Simonton -- play an acoustic set at the Attic tonight. Their opening act is folk/rocker Rachel Bissex. The show starts at 8 p.m. and it's 21-and-up. Eddie's Attic (Nicoll)

NIKKI SUDDEN, THE WARLOCKS -- Cult-figure Sudden, former leader of '80s post-punk band Swell Maps, is embarking on an exhaustive comeback tour. The eccentric singer's hard-to-find solo albums, beginning with Waiting on Egypt from '82, currently are being reissued. Sudden's on the road with Velvet Underground-infleuenced California band The Warlocks backing him. The Earl (Smith)
