BENEFIT FOR DONNIE MCCORMICK -- Known around Atlanta for tapping out a rhythm on a chicken coop and anything else in the building, Donnie McCormick has made quite an impact on the music scene, playing with the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead. Paying tribute tonight are Slim Fatz, Bo Weevil, Mudcat, the Breeze Kings, King Johnson, Robert Page, Eddie Tigner leading the Northside Big Band and others. Door proceeds will help McCormick in his downtime after suffering several heart attacks in April. Northside Tavern (Keel)
