Bantam + Biddy will work with local brewery Wild Heaven Craft Beers to offer a four-course beer dinner. Chef Lance Gummere has created dishes to complement all four beers, and Wild Heaven's brewmaster will be available to discuss the beers and upcoming plans for the brewery. The evening begins with an hors d’oeuvre at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The menu includes
wild salmon carpaccio with IPA mustard, dill and rye paired with Let There Be Light (American Ale with a citrus note); spiced duck salad with candied pecans and strawberry and peppercorn vinaigrette paired with Eschaton (Belgian Strong Dark Ale with dark fruit and pit fruit flavors as well as earthy spiciness); rotisserie rib-eye with horseradish, watercress and brioche paired with Invocation (Belgian-style Golden Ale with a semi-dry finish and lingering tropical fruit and spicy notes); and bread pudding with chocolate, pralines and cherry compote paired with Ode to Mercy (Imperial Brown Ale with a combination of deep-roasted malts, coffee, oak and a smooth, creamy finish).
