Will you miss daylight-saving time?

?David: No. I’m a sunrise person rather than a sunset person. There’s something about the sun rising. Now that I’m 55, every morning that you wake up, the fact that you get to see a sunrise again is a rejuvenation of life. When you become a legitimate AARP card-carrying member, every morning sunrise is special. To see that sun on the way to my job in the morning is much more pleasurable.

Pam: I haven’t seen sunrise since Moby Dick was a guppy. I like to come home and hang out, ride my bike, have friends over, have a few drinks, walk the dog. I hate that it gets dark early. You feel like a hermit just sitting around eating. They talk about Americans eating too much, and we don’t get enough exercise. Well, stop changing the time back, and we might get more exercise in the winter.

Stopper: I hate the fuckin’ sunlight. I keep aluminum foil over the windows. I like being cold, damp and in the dark. I wear sunglasses about 24/7. I’d rather walk the dog at night than in the daytime when you have to talk to a lot of people you really don’t want to. You’re taking your dog out so he can take a crap. I don’t give a shit about talking to anybody and making a friendship out of it.
