Zammuto, Duet For Theremin and Lapsteel

When: Mon., Sept. 10, 8:30 p.m. 2012
Price: $12
Nick Zammuto of defunct NYC duo the Books comes through town with his latest group, dubbed Zammuto, and a set of experimental numbers set to an impressive visual backdrop that’s synced to the music. Atlanta’s Duet for Theremin and Lapsteel craft haunting and ethereal textures and drones using, as their name suggests, a Theremin (Scott Burland) and a lap steel (Frank Schultz) — and maybe a sampler or two. Check out Zammuto's Live In Athens, GA EP. Also, here are some tracks from Duet For Theremin and Lapsteel's latest, Collaborations.
