Happier times (Sugarland L to R Bush, Nettles and Hall)

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported today that Sugarland founder Kristen Hall has filed a law suit against her former band. Her suit filed July 29 in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, seeks more than $1.5 million in profits, along with interest, attorney fees and a formal accounting of all partnership affairs and businesses from the band's current members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush.

News of the suit comes as a shock to fans at a time when the group's latest release, Love on the Inside (Mercury Nashville) holds the position as the nation's No. 1 selling album on Billboard Music Charts.

kristen is a self-centered, selfish glutton...she left the band on her own volition...she deserves nothing...she has some major psychological problems

Doesn't she get royalties from their 1st album that she gets money from? Why is she being so greedy? She decided to leave just when they were getting ready to hit it big. It's her own fault.

Check out Kristen's side on Law.com She came up with the made, co-wrote most of their songs from their first 2 albums, got them up and going, especially the name of the group, They should do the right thing by Kristen, It's unfortunate that a lawyer will have to make it happen but Abdu will bring clarity to it all It's a shame that the author of "Sugarland" did not get a sweeter deal
