Music news Fringe Factory DJs/Knoel & the SS get the jump on Valentine's weekend

Tonight (Thurs., Feb. 12th), the Fringe Factory DJs Suzy Q and Vikki V get a head start on the Hallmark weekend at 529. The ladies will DJ a grip of 60's garage rock, trash, psych. and exotica records from 10 p.m. until close.
The evening will also host the non-house party debut performance from local newcomers Knoel and the S.S., which features members of Pinche Gringo (Greensboro, NC), Cars Can Be Blue (Athens, GA), and Atlanta's very own Barberries. Their sound is a primitive take on garage rock, punk and straight-forward rock and roll. The photo kind of says it all.
The show is free and the music starts at 10 p.m. 529 Flat Shoals Rd. 404-228-6769.
