Music news Mark Farina returns to Atlanta

Maybe it's all the talk about coming back (see Mob, Goodie), or maybe it's simply a matter of Atlanta solidifying its place as a destination for top DJs, but San Francisco/Chicago house legend Mark Farina returns a mere three months after a memorable night at what used to be called the Mark. Same venue, new name for Friday's (9/18) party, as the Mushroom Jazz maestro graces the decks and effects once again.
Direct from Buenos Aires, Dilo will keep things interesting in the upstairs lounge. Local faves Kevin O and Mike Zarin will start things off.
Mark Farina spins Fri. Sept. 18 with Dilo, Kevin O and Mike Zarin. $10-15 10 p.m. Filter, 79 Poplar Street.
