Update: 'Housewife's' ex-fiance's murder stemmed from fight over respect

Posted by Bobby Feingold on Tue, Oct 6, 2009 at 4:54 PM

An update in the murder of Ashley "A.J." Jewell, the ex-fiance of "Real Housewife of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss:

According to WSBTV, the fight that broke out in the Body Tap Club strip club that ultimately killed Jewell was over a lack of respect. Police have charged Frederick Richardson, an employee at the Body Tap Club, with voluntary manslaughter, and he is currently being held at the Fulton County jail. According to Lt. Keith Meadows, head of Atlanta Police’s homicide unit:

“They had some words about a business decision...It seems like it was a struggle for power over the club.”

In the hit Bravo show, Burruss's mother distrusted Jewell and did not want her daughter to marry him.

Respect? Do they respect the women who shed their clothes at the Bodytap? Do they respect the sanctity of life? Do they respect the letter of the law? Neither of these buffoons know the meaning of respect, hence one is dead and one is in jail.

This is the most ignorant mess I have ever heard, this has nothing to do with his death and instead of prying on the fact that respect was the issue, base your comment on how people dont value life and the tragedy behind this, focus on praying for his kids and kandi instead of having that "this is what he get" attitude, nobody really deserves death (except in few rare instances)...respect that.
