Who are you?
CJ Bargamian, singer and guitarist from A Fight to the Death.
Describe yourself in three words.
Busy, busy, busy.
Who dead or alive would you most like to meet?
Townes van Zandt.
Who would you most like to slap in the face?
Flo - the lady from those Progressive Insurance TV commercials.
What song do you wish you had written?
"Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)" by Domenico Modugno. Dean Martin's version gives me chills every time.
Donna Heywood, Audrey Horne or Shelly Johnson?
Audrey Horne, hands down. She's the sexiest of the lot, and beneath her playful exterior she's the most sincere. Plus, any lady who falls for Dale Cooper obviously knows a classy gent when she sees one.
LP, CD or MP3?
LP for quality, but I certainly enjoy that my ipod allows me to listen to music anywhere I go.
If you could start one trend, what would it be?
I wish that more people would actually sit down and listen to a record with no other distractions. Nobody does that anymore - these days we're all accustomed to having music as the soundtrack to other tasks.
If you could end one trend, what would it be?
Musicians and music fans who value schtick over substance.
With whom would you most like to play a game of spin the bottle?
Let's just stick with Audrey Horne, since we're on the subject.
A Fight to the Death plays a fundraiser for the Atlanta Community Food Bank at the Highland Inn Ballroom Lounge. Sat., Dec. 19. $3. 8 p.m. (donate 3 canned goods at the door and you don't have to pay the cover). 644 North Highland Ave. 404-874-5756.
