The Pukinje Shift plays at 4 p.m. today (Sunday)

According to a late-night text message from Ben Davis, the original lineup for the Purkinje Shift -- Davis (guitar), Gary Flom (guitar) and Scott Robbins (drums) are getting together to play at 4 p.m. for the Thomas Peake Memorial Concert today at Eyedrum.

This will mark the first time the once great, jazz/math/post-hardcore trio has played in over 9 years.

The Thomas Peake Memorial Concert with DQE, the Shaking Ray Levis, FLAP, 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra, Gold Sparkle Band, San Agustin and more. $10. 3 p.m. (doors). Sun., Dec. 20. Eyedrum, 290 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive S.E., Suite 8. 404-522-0655.

9 p.m. -- FLAP

10 p.m. -- DQE
