Little Tybee, Adam Arcuragi, Adron Atlanta's Little Tybee crafts soft, experimental chamber pop that stirs and sputters amidst lush string, drum, piano, electronic arrangements over blissfully fey ruminations. Abba and Ace of Bass come to mind, but unlike their ancestors, the latest Swede sensation, Movits sidesteps girly disco for a stylish hybrid of swing, jazz and hip-hop. It's a cultural experience to witness the fast-paced flow of four Swedes in tuxedos rapping in their native tongue as they reel through numbers from their latest Comedy Central-released CD, Äppelknyckarjazz, which literally translates to Apple swiper jazz. Local acts Joe Pettis and the Falcon Lords warm up the stage. $8 (adv). $10 (door). 9 p.m. The Earl, 488 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-522-3950.

Sun., Jan. 17 WRFG Benefit Since going on-air in 1973 Atlanta's public radio station WRFG-FM (89.3) has fought the good fight by serving as the voice for the non-mainstream sects of the local community. Blues acts Yonrico Scott, the Joe Mcguinness Band, Blues Cat, guitarist Jody Worrell and Super Kats are playing a fundraiser for WRFG's cause. $12 (adv). $15 (door). Doors open at 7 p.m and the music begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. Smith's Olde Bar, 1578 Piedmont Ave. 404-875-1522.
