Harvey Milk the Athens-based sludge-metal group, not the late San Francisco city supervisor has been around, like, forever. Lately, though, they've enjoyed a bit of a resurgence thanks to renewed interest in their buzzed brand of bombast from the P4K set (which is also where this bit of news comes from).
Hot on the heels of the official release of their self-titled debut cassette comes A Small Turn of Human Kindness, a new full-length scheduled to see the light of day on May 18. If the cover art (below jump) and tracklist are any indication, this album will be Heavy As Fuck:
2. I Just Want to Go Home
3. I Am Sick of All This Too
4. I Know This Is No Place for You
5. I Alone Got Up and Left
6. I Know This Is All My Fault
7. I Did Not Call Out
Speaking of the album cover, the photograph featured is a shot by Athens' Mike White, he of Deadly Designs renown; if you've been to a show in Athens or Atlanta the past few years you've probably seen him snapping away. Congrats, Mike!
Harvey Milk will play the Masquerade on May 28 with metal mainstays Converge.

3 people apparently love handing over an extra 40% in fees for nothing in return…
Dang. I thought they would name some actual headliners.
Forgot to mention that Iggy did a stellar show @ the Agora in the spring…
Their fees were onerous, to say the least. $16 per ticket for "convenience," and it's…
That poster is for the Iggy Pop show on March 11 1983 @ 688 club…
oh sweet: just who i was waiting to get announced!
