Music news Help put the A in Austin for SXSW!!!

Sally Struthers may not do those annoying commercials anymore, but that doesn't mean all is right with the world.
Did you know there are starving children artists in Africa Atlanta who need your support? For the price of a cup of coffee grande mocha frap-a-latte a day at Starbucks, you could help make their SXSW dreams come true while simultaneously reppin' your city to the fullest.
That's right. All week long Fadia Kader, SMKA, Esperanza, Mindzai and a slew of other co-sponsors have been raising funds for the biggest Atlanta-related show scheduled to take place at next week's SXSW festival. It's called We Put the A in Austin and it goes down Fri., March 19 at Light Bar. The bill for the SXSW show includes 25 acts ranging from rappers to rockers to singers — all of whom are part of Atlanta's subterranean scene (you know, struggling, unsigned artists with day jobs. eek!). In order to provide transportation and lodging for all of the acts, several fundraiser shows have taken place this week, the last of which goes down tomorrow night at Apache Cafe where several of the featured acts will perform, including Hollyweerd, Sean Falyon, FKi, Gripplyaz, ALeon Craft, Señor Kaos, Vonnegutt, the 54, DJ DiBiase and show host Dres tha Beatnik.
The $10 door fee for tomorrow's show, which starts at 10 p.m. Fri., March 12, goes to support their collective mission, so fall through and show some love. Even if you don't do it for the artists, do it for Atlanta. Sally would.

Its the week before SXSW

we are needing all of your help.
Fans, Friends, Family , Media, Music lovers and just overall supporters and residents of ATL (and outside of ATL, please tell your ATL folks)
As you all know SXSW is a huge festival and a great platform for not only buzzing up and coming artist , but ANY artist!
Artists:
We are planning a ALL ATLANTA stage with ALL genres of music on March 19 in Austin during the SXSW festival , to raise as much awareness about the MUSIC coming out of ATL that is overshadowed by what the perception of ATL is.
We will be providing lodging and transportation to the majority of the artist on our bill and Im sure you can imagine it can get pretty costly to house and transport over 35 people! So we need your HELP!
If you didnt make it this year on the stage, its not because we didnt want to take you ... we are trying to make it so huge this year that we can have an ALL DAY EVENT and take more artist to rep for ATL next year!!
So we need your help to promote all these fundraisers as well as the show in Austin! Look at the bigger picture and the attention we are attempting to garner to bring back to ATL for EVERYONE to get shine moving forward!
