When Bieber fever goes wrong

Posted By on Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 7:02 PM

Scooter Braun, manager of rapper Asher Roth and pop sensation Justin Bieber, was arrested this week on charges of reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance. No, Braun didn't get too wasted during spring break and streak in a public place. He was arrested as a result of a November riot — caused by THOUSANDS of prepubescent girls who showed up at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York expecting to meet Bieber for autographs.

Police warned Braun to tweet that the event was canceled because they feared the crowd would grow to uncontrollable numbers and become unruly. He refused until almost 3,000 fans flash mobbed the mall to see Bieber. If found guilty, Braun could face up to a year in prison. A hearing is set for April 7 for Braun, who is currently free, according to Rodney Ho of the AJC.

If you're like me and you don't know who Justin Bieber is, PopEater says that the 16-year-old mandroid/tool of the illuminati pop star is the hottest thing on this planet since...the sun. He's been a trending topic on Twitter for the entire 2010! Maybe its just me but there's something scary about Bieber's ability to make young girls everywhere go crazy. I'm watching you, Bieber...

Props to RapRadar for the video.
