ICP believes in 'Miracles'

Posted By on Wed, Apr 14, 2010 at 6:45 PM

First off, Insane Clown Posse still exists. Moreover, the Faygo-swilling, Juggalo-herding former professional wrestlers recently revealed themselves to ostensibly be a Christian rock band. Let that all sink in.

The Michigan-bred "horrorcore" crew of Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J have released a video (above) for "Miracles," a track from their 2009 release Bang! Pow! Boom!. It is Internet-famous. It is insane.

In keeping with the group's newfound religious awakening, the lyrics of "Miracles" are about all the awe-inspiring aspects of life: giraffes, pelicans trying to eat cell phones, children resembling their parents, "fuckin' rainbows" — you know, the usual. Never mind that most of these "miracles" are easily explained by science (or, you know, logic) — as Shaggy 2 Dope defiantly raps, "I don't wanna talk to a scientist/ Y'all motherfuckers lyin'/ And gettin' me pissed."

I really don't know what else to say. "Miracles" has already been picked apart and over-thought by folks the whole web over. Still, I'm still not entirely convinced that this exists.

Magic everywhere in this bitch.
