In an interview with MTV, tweeny-bopper Justin Bieber was all 'yeah I totally coulda been on American Idol but I just didn't want to, 'cuz the Internets is better for gettin' famous anyway.'
Or, as quoted accurately:
"For sure! You know ... we used to watch [Idol]. Me and my mom used to watch it when I was little and we were like, 'I could get on there, you know.' When I turned 16, I might have went and tried out, but [YouTube] was faster."
I didn't think I could despise this smug little bastard any more than I already did. I was wrong. Also, he's 16? Does puberty still exist?

Smug? maybe. And you can hate the kid for whatever reason at all... but you don't think this little dude would have dominated all those other clowns up there?? I like that swagger.
