On Fri., June 11 Die Slaughterhaus Records will celebrate the release of what will most likely be the last official recordings from Bobby and the Soft Spots at 529. The record is a split 7-inch with Baby Dinosaurs vs. Extintion on the flipside. The songs were recorded a little over 2 years ago at Rob's House, and have been waiting in limbo until now. The songs on the Soft Spots' side include "Make You Mine" and a cover of Link Wray's instrumental street fight anthem, "Rumble." The Baby Dino's side tear through a deceptively fun and totally jagged girl group take on noise pop, called "Coke Dick," along with a cover of Tracey Dey's "I won't Tell." There's a $5 cover for the record release party. Baby Dinosaurs vs. Extintion, the Archrivals and Sarsaparilla the Singing Gorilla perform. 529 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-228-6769.
