Chad Rad’s weekend concert picks June 1-3

So many shows to go out and see this week... So little time...

?
Tues., June 1 — Bukkake Boys bear the flame of old school hardcore with a blitzkrieg of screaming, energy channeled through doom-obsessed rhythms and dirges. Brooklyn’s Twin Stumps conjures a slow and sludgy post-industrial scrape that’s garbled by oppressive feedback and distortion, while locals WYMYNS PRYSYN and Big Dad (both featuring members of Hawks), and Pittsburgh’s Kim Phuc also perform. $7. 9 p.m. 529. 529 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-228-6769.

?
Tues., June 1 — Prepare your ears for en evening of trans-Euro free improv as the three stellar performers, Jacques Demierre (piano), Charlotte Hug, (viola + voice) and Urs Leimgruber (saxophone) break free from the traditions that govern their respective instruments, with sometimes pretty, sometimes chaotic new forms and styles. $7. 9 p.m. Eyedrum. 404-522-0655.
