529.
529 Flat Shoals Ave. 404-228-6769.

Mon., June 14Living Rooms, Goldilocks, Qurious. Free. 9 p.m.

Tues., June 15Bass Drum of Death, The Clap, Mustard Greens. $5. 9 p.m.

The Drunken Unicorn.
Drunken Unicorn, 736 Ponce de Leon Place.

Wed., June 16 — Okay, so believe it or not there was a time in the not-so-distant past (late '80 and early '90s) when KMFDM wasn't a horrible, third-rate goth/industrial cliche. They were good, very German, and very very Sprockets, but what are you going to do? Anyway, the secret weapon back then was En Esh and now he's playing the Drunken unicorn with a new band, called Slick Idiot. It's hard to tell if he's aged well as a musician or not because there are only short clips of songs on the group's Myspace page, which is pretty friggin' annoying. But If you're kind and you have an ear for that golden era of electro-industrial dance stomp, this might be a cool show, but I can neither confirm nor deny it at this time. Mona Mur and Embersreich open. $8-$10. 9 p.m.

The Earl.
488 Flat Shoals Rd. 404-522-3950.

Mirah (pronounced meer ah) is an Olympia, Wash. songstress who’s alluring voice and modest, but enchanting strums yield short, inward ruminations on a day in the life of a glowing and somewhat reserved indie lady with a guitar. Now playing alongside Thao Nguyen of like minded indie rockers the Get Down Stay Down, the two are touring as Thao and Mirah With The Most of All. For this cross-country trek, both ladies take turns singing songs from their respective bodies of work while enlisting friends along the way to join them on-stage. These United States open. $12. 8:30 p.m.

East Side Lounge.
East Side Lounge. 485 Flat Shoals Rd. 404-521-9666.

Wed., June 16 — Dan Dixon and Dave Chase from Dropsonic have teamed up with James Hall and Derek Murphy to form a new Zeppelin/Jesus Lizard/Billy Squire-esque group, called the Aristocrats and they're playing East Side Lounge for Kenny Crucial's birthday event, and yes. Mack Messiah is will be performing as well. $? 9 p.m.

"Lights Go Down" mp3

The Five Spot.
1123 Euclid Ave. 404-223-1100.

Variety Playhouse.
Variety Playhouse, 1099 Euclid Ave. 404-524-7354.

Wed., June 16 — Yes, Concrete Blonde's Bloodletting turns 20 this year... I always liked the album called Free a little more. Couldn't stand the video for "Joey" that played on MTV every 5 minutes back in the day when they used to play videos all day. But still, Bloodletting rules pretty hard. Jim Bianco opens. $27.50-$30.
