Tonight DJ Kemit provides soundtrack for Vagabond Arts showcase

Tonight at Halo, check out Fashion Bliss featuring DJ Kemit as he spins house and soul selections as a backdrop for Vagabond Arts' fashion show.

Vagabond Arts is a jewelry company created by Meghan McKendree, who's been designing her nature-inspired pieces for more than 13 years. They are striking in their simplicity but the materials used range from rare to exotic — she can make something like shark bone surprisingly elegant. Featured at national and local festivals such as the Inman Park Festival, tonight McKendree's pieces will be adorned by models wearing body paint (and in some cases not much else).

Come a little fancy for the show, stay for the music and good vibes.

Fashion Bliss. $10 (flier says free, but cover charge was added just an hour ago). 9 p.m. Halo, 817 W. Peachtree St. 404-962-7333.
